Overview

Append detailed vehicle information to customer records and search for changes to Registered Keeper information using the UKChanges Vehicle Data API.

A change of Registered Keeper information is a useful indicator that your customer may have sold or replaced their vehicle. In addition to use in the motor trade for servicing, upgrade and lifecycle offers, amendments to the vehicle keeper details might also suggest potential changes in your customers' lifestyles or circumstances.

Searches against the Vehicle Data API use either the vehicle's VRM (licence plate) or VIN number (and not the owner's name and address) as the input criteria to append a variety of useful dates and details which can be used for analysis and as a trigger for communications activity.

Information available includes: make, model, colour, year of registration, change of registered keeper details, registration transfers, MOT due dates, past mileage, scrappage data, and more (see opposite).

Use the Vehicle Data API in batch mode for submitting large volumes of records for analysis, or as a single search when adding details to records at the point of use, such as a customer service or support call.

Understand how key dates and details associated with their vehicle impact the decisions of your customers and identify opportunities for sales and service offers.
